Every year, the Kelly-Oster School of Irish Dance raises money to help send our dancers to National competitions and, most recently, the All Ireland Championships. We feel very fortunate to be able to do this and we think it's about time to give back to the community.
Each year, the KKO school selects a different charity for fund raising.
The 2008 KKO charity will be the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
Relay for Life is the signature fundraising event of the American Cancer Society. This event offers everyone in the community to participate in the fight against cancer. This unique and inspiring event has been a huge success in Putnam County for the last seven years. All money raised from this event will go toward the funding of research, public education, advocacy, and local patient services.
The Relay for Life is an overnight team event. Participants are asked for a $10 registration fee and encouraged to raise at least $100. Relay teams pitch tents and decorate their campsites. The team's goal for the Relay is to have one member of the team on the track at all times throughout the Relay. If you decide to participate, you are not required to stay overnight.
This year's Relay for Life will take place at Mahopac High School
Saturday, June 7nd at 7:00am through Sunday, June 8rd, 7:00am

When you donate $5.00 or more, You will be able to add a name to our school team T-shirt to honor a loved one who has been affected by this illness. Our T-shirts will be in memory of those who have lost their battle with cancer & honor those who are fighting or have beaten cancer.
When you donate $10.00 or more, 
you will be able to light a Luminary Candle with a loved ones name on it.
The candles line the track and it is one amazing sight!
When you donate $20.00, will receive a 2008 KKO Relay for Life T-shirt
Donations will be collected up to the day of the event!
When you donate $50 or more, your Business or Organization will be listed on our Tshirt as a Sponsour.
You Must Register if you would like to walk, dance, camp
or just hang out with our school Relay team.
You will receive an admission bracelet to the event & a Relay for Life T-shirt.
