All KKO fund raisers help to support the Kelly-Oster School of Irish Dance Scholarship Fund.

Our school pledges to support all dancers who qualify for National & World Championships in every way possible.


Scholarships given out by KKO

World Championships:Qualified dancers will receive paid air fare to the Worlds in Ireland, if finances are available.

North American Championships:Financial support is provided for dancers qualified to compete at the Nationals.

Graduating Seniors: Scholarships will be presented to graduating seniors who have contributed their time to the dance organization during their high school years.

Most Improved Dancer: scholarships presented at the annual recital to 1 beginner, 1 advanced beginner, 1 novice / PW, 1 Championship & 1 Team Dancer.

Promising Future Dancer: scholarships presented at the annual recital to 1 beginner, 1 advanced beginner, 1 novice / PW, & 1 Championship.

School Spirit Award:  scholarships presented at the annual recital to a dancer who shown continued support of their fellow dancers in the school throughout the year.

Holiday Wreaths

In 2006 We raised over $1100.00  Thank you to everyone who helped support KKO!

We will be doing this fundraiser again in 2008.


Feis Na Blian Nua:  Sunday January 20, 2008 at Western Connecticut State University Sports Complex, Danbury, CT

Fundraising proceeds from this event goes directly to the school.  All profits from this event are used to support all solo dancers traveling to the World & North American Championships.  Proceeds also help defray the cost of tuition for ALL students. 

2007 - 2007 KKO Philanthropic 

Every dance year the Kelly-Oster School raises money to donate to one charity outside of the Irish Dancing World.  2007 Charity Organization: American Cancer Society        Chairperson:  Siobhan Trippodo

Recital:  May 3, 2008   Putnam Valley High School

Profits from this event go directly to the scholarship fund.  Scholarships are awarded to Graduating Seniors, "The Most Improved Dancer" in the beginner, advanced beginner & novice levels, and "Promising Future Dancer" in the beginner, advanced beginner & Novice levels.


Relay for Life:  1st Weekend in June

Join our school to help raise money for the American Cancer Association.  Collect pledges and take part of our 24 Hour relay team at Mahopac High School the first weekend in June. All participants that sign up to walk with us will recieve a KKO Charity T-shirt.
