Dear Fellow Dancing Parents & Community Members,

In 2010 the North American Irish Dance Championships will be held at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fl.  Solo and team dancers of the Kelly-Oster School of Irish Dance will have the opportunity to participate in this event.  It is a great dream of a dancer to have the chance to compete at nationals.  It is also every child’s dream to go to Disney World.  With your help I would like to make these dreams come true.

My name is Cliff Oster.  Most of you know me as Karyn’s dad or Kerry’s husband.  For the past 25 years I have watched the school support the local community at St. Patrick’s Day events, town fairs, school assemblies, and anything else they have been asked to do.  I will be organizing the 2nd annual Kelly-Oster Golf Outing on Friday, August 21st.  I have decided to run this event to help raise money so qualified dancers can experience both dreams of attending nationals and Disney World.  Now it is time for us to ask the community for their support.

The Golf Outing will be in Memory of two great men, Edward J. Kelly & Clifford G. Oster, whose constant support and generosity helped to sponsor KKO dancers in the past.  Many of the dance halls we use now were secured by these men, as well as connections with local organizations and political figures.

Although I have run over 30 Golf Outings in the past, I cannot do it alone!  I need your help in recruiting sponsors and golfers.  Enclosed, please find the golf forms and sponsor forms.  If each family could solicit one hole sponsor or a four-some of golfers for the outing, together we can make all the dancers dreams come true.
